The Grauer School's High School Surf Team Wins Competition

On February 3, The Grauer School Surf Team defeated High Tech High at Army Navy Academy in Carlsbad. Congratulations to all our surfers who showed up in a big way to overcome one of the top rated teams in our division. Grauer surfers also dominated in individual rounds of competition. Noa H. '18 made the final in both longboard and shortboard. Kai S. '21 took 1st place overall in body board, maintaining his place as the highest rated bodyboarder in the division. Kasey B. '20 made the final for men's shortboard and took 2nd place overall in longboard. Senior Colin Q. '18 took 4th in longboard as well.
A huge thanks to all that came out and supported our team in this critical match-up, and thanks to all of our team surfers: Ivy H. '21, Noa H. '18, Erik H. '21, Kasey B. '20, Case C. '21, Colin Q. '18, and Kai S. '21. Our final meet of the season is on March 3 at La Jolla Shores, so please come out and support the team!

Congratulations to Ben A. '28 for being interviewed for the NBC 4 television station in Los Angeles. Ben was interviewed about his work with Tech-Angels, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering senior citizens through technology.
Grauer High School musicians performed a diverse and eclectic range of songs, curated by the students themselves, at the Music Cafe Night event on March 21.

The Grauer School had two High School teams competing at the San Diego Science Olympiad competition at the University of San Diego on March 16. Our teams competed in a variety of events across the STEAM spectrum.
