The Visual Arts Department submitted artwork from 45 Grauer students, plus the Yearbook team, to the San Diego County Fair this year. We would like to congratulate all of our students who were awarded with 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place ribbons on their artwork pieces. The Visual Arts students did a great job representing The Grauer School at this year's San Diego County Fair, and we are so proud of all of our student artists whose artwork was on display in the Student Showcase section in the Exhibit Hall building!

It’s been a busy year. Summer is for slowing down. So exhale, settle in, set your phone aside for ten minutes, and let this story keep you company for a while. It begins in an attic full of old boxes we're clearing out, but it ends with a deceptive question every one of us is going to have to answer: What deserves to survive us?
The Grauer School was an event sponsor at EcoFest 2026, and hosted a booth at the event. Booth visitors picked up wildflower seeds that attract pollinators, and learned about The Grauer School's unique program as well as our sustainable activities and initiatives.
Grauer students flew to Sacramento for the day to support California Senate Bill SB 965. The bill eliminates the requirement of an in-person parent signature in order for a 16 or 17-year-old student to obtain a library card.
