Our talented senior class members completed their Senior Graduation Defense presentations during the week of May 4-8, where they petitioned for distinction in a given area. We are so impressed by our seniors’ embodiment of our core values, their talent, their gratitude, and their ability to articulate what legacy they are leaving The Grauer School—no wonder they had such tremendous college-application success.
Although all of our Seniors delivered excellent presentations, here are a few of our favorite quotes from this year’s Graduation Defenses:

Narrative psychology examines the value of stories and storytelling in giving meaning to people’s experiences. In Psychology class, students’ final projects involve making a narrative tree, or a “tree of life”.
Students in Dance PE class presented a Jazz Dance performance for friends and families. The students spent months developing their jazz dance technique, and then several weeks rehearsing the two dances shown in the performance.
11th and 12th Grade mentors were matched with Middle School students early in the school year. We celebrated the end of a very successful mentoring year with a pizza party!
Grauer Yearbooks were distributed by the Yearbook team during lunchtime on June 3. Thanks to the 2025-2026 Yearbook team for all of their hard work in creating The Grauer School's annual yearbook with the theme of the "A Year in Color."
I was invited to headline this year’s Encinitas Mayor's Prayer Breakfast despite possessing no known qualifications for such a charge. Here are a few blessings from a school founder who has learned that discovery begins where certainty ends.
