Obstacle Course Racing Club Competition: Tough Mudder
From Paulina Davis-Fisher, Obstacle Course Racing Club Mentor: The Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) club competed in the Tough Mudder race in Lake Elsinore on December 4. We had a group of 10 enjoy the morning with a fierce yet fun muddy 5K obstacle course including the Blockness Monster, Kiss of Mud, and Electroshock Therapy obstacles. Our group included 8 students (6 of which were new to OCR), one parent (Yes! Parents can join too!), and me. We rocked the Tough Mudder course and all did an excellent job, finishing under 1 hour and 30 minutes. Congratulations to all of our students who raced, including Jack T. 23', Andi W. '23, Ennis R. 25', Billy B. 26', MJ C. 26', Jonah L. 26', Alana M. 26', Raina N. 26', and parent, Kim Klein. Special shout out to Andi W. '23 who was the first girl to finish from our entire heat! Thanks to our team parents for your support. All in all, it was a pretty awesome day of teamwork!
