Middle School Geography Bee

Middle School Geography Bee
On March 7, The Grauer School held their annual Middle School Geography Bee, which was hosted by History teachers Paul-Michael Ogburn and Paloma Connolly. The eight finalists all did an incredible job of putting their geography skills to the test and impressing us all. Preliminary rounds were hosted in 7th grade Global Insights and 8th grade U.S. History classes to determine the finalists. The students competed well in front of their peers, who were cheering them on. In the end, it was Ryan H. '30 as our 2025 Geography Bee Champion and Sam B. '30 as the runner-up. Congratulations to all of the competitors for an incredible Geography Bee!

After the Bee was completed, the students competed in fun rounds of geography competitions by finding specific countries on the map based on latitude and longitude coordinates given to them by Paul-Michael and Paloma. Congratulations to the students in Patricia's 8th Grade Homeroom for winning the geography competition, with the most number of correct countries located on the globe during the competition.
