Grauer Theatre Department Presents The Play "Reckless"
From Erin Langen, Theatre Teacher: The Theatre Department presented the play "Reckless" on January 12 and January 13. We were so excited for our Grauer community to see our show. It was extra exciting for us to be performing in our beautiful Meyer Hall, and experiencing theatre in the round. I so admire the sincere talent of our cast and crew, and I’m proud of the passion they showed for the entire process. I truly have loved every second with them, and thank them, and their families for their dedication to this incredible department. It takes a village though, so I’d like to thank the entire Performing & Visual Arts Department, as well as our faculty and staff, for their collaboration and support for the show. We hope you enjoyed the show, and now on to the next performances!

Our strongest memories of school often aren’t about tests or class lessons—they're about the moments and encounters that shaped us: a teacher who saw something in us before we did, or the unspoken codes of status and survival. What do you remember?
On a trip to the grocery store, Dr. Grauer spotted a small fitness studio named The Exercise Coach. Their pitch: "20-minute strength workouts, twice a week." When he tried out a lesson, the last thing he expected was to be re-taught his own educational philosophy.
After completing a unit on food vocabulary, Spanish students had the opportunity to experience authentic Peruvian cuisine. For many students, this was a culinary adventure, as they sampled these dishes for the first time, broadening their appreciation of Peruvian flavors and culture.
Grauer Seniors acted as assistants for a day to other students or Grauer faculty members who hired their services in the "Hire A Senior" fundraiser. Some Seniors assisted with classes or other tasks, some brought food to campus for the person they were assisting, and everyone had a lot of fun!
The Grauer School held their annual Middle School Geography Bee, and the eight finalists all did an incredible job of putting their geography skills to the test and impressing us all.
Congratulations to Cailin H. '30 for representing The Grauer School at the San Diego County Scripps Regional Spelling Bee on March 6. We were so proud to have Cailin represent our school!
