Grauer Physics Class - Indoor Skydiving Field Trip
From Morgan Brown, Physics Teacher:
The Grauer Physics class has spent time throughout the year studying gravity, free fall, projectile motion, air resistance, fluid density, buoyancy, Bernoulli's principle, and much more. What better way to see, or better yet feel, these principles in action than through skydiving! While unrealistic to take the full class and jump out of a plane, fortunately we had the opportunity to go indoor skydiving, which allows us to simulate the experience nicely. The students got to have an unforgettable experience that ties directly back to what they have been learning in the classroom this year. Special thanks to Johnny King and Paulina Davis-Fisher for accompanying the Physics class on their skydiving adventure!
