Grauer Middle School Friday Boba Tea Activity
From Paul-Michael Ogburn, Global Insights Teacher:
Middle School students who attended the Pure Fun activity on Friday, January 13, had a great time learning new things about the popular drink Boba Tea, including what exactly Boba Tea is made of, and the history behind the drink. They also got to explore the tea-growing culture in Taiwan and sample different teas from the region. The students had to slow down and channel their inner food critics by tasting and experiencing each element shown in the menu list below individually, before putting all of the components together in a drink. They loved getting to make their own creations, and they sometimes learned the hard way what the proper ratios should be!
