Grauer's Middle School Boys Basketball team competed in this year's IMSL (Independent Middle School League) playoffs, losing a very close game against The Rhoades School on February 5. On Thursday, March 7, the Girl Rising Club hosted a Cafe Night in collaboration with Visual and Performing Arts Department to raise money for Daraja Academy, an all girls boarding school in Kenya.
On Friday, March 8, the Pre-Calculus class presented their annual Carnival Games during lunchtime, where Grauer students and teachers could play some fun games of chance for a quarter. It's an exciting way to end their Probability and Statistics unit!
On Thursday, March 7, Tori Faxon's 7th Grade Global Insights class played a fun Geography game after learning about the physical and political geography of Asia. The students lined up in 2 lines and took turns competing to name geographical locations on the globe.
Grauer's Film Studies class went on a field trip on Friday, March 8 to take a a tour of the student-run CHSTV television studio, where they were able to view broadcast equipment in action during a live broadcast.
