Grauer Chickens Lay Eggs
The Grauer School's Middle School Coops & Chickens Club has 4 chickens on campus named Bernadette, Cleopatra, Elizabeth, and Henrietta, and they're all different varieties of chickens. The chickens are about 6 months old now, and they just started laying eggs in June! Dr. Stuart Grauer ate some of their first eggs, and he said, "The eggs are small, soft, rich with flavor, and the very first one was a double yolk — which means good luck!"
Special thanks to all of the Grauer staff and students who are taking care of the chickens during the summer.
