As a culminating event for our unit on Forces, the 8th grade had the opportunity to participate in the On Board with Newton's Laws program on the USS Midway on Tuesday, April 2. Students had the opportunity to explore how Newton's Laws of Motion apply to take-off and landing on the aircraft carrier through lessons, labs, and tours. At the end of the day, students had the opportunity to explore a little bit of the history while watching Voices of the Midway in the Battle of the Midway theater, and they were able to see what life on the ship might have been like through the City at Sea tour.

Grauer High School musicians performed a diverse and eclectic range of songs, curated by the students themselves, at the Music Cafe Night event on March 21.

The Grauer School had two High School teams competing at the San Diego Science Olympiad competition at the University of San Diego on March 16. Our teams competed in a variety of events across the STEAM spectrum.
