Geography Game in 7th Grade Global Insights Class
On Thursday, March 7, Tori Faxon's 7th Grade Global Insights class played a fun Geography game after learning about the physical and political geography of Asia. The students lined up in 2 lines and took turns competing to name geographical locations on the globe.
During each round, Tori called out a location and then each competing pair of students ran forward to pick up the globe so they could try to be the first to identify the location and point it out on the globe to Tori and Zachary F. '19, the 12th grade student teaching assistant. The students did fun calisthenic exercises like jumping jacks and pushups while they were waiting in line for their turn. This was a great game to play outdoors on a beautiful sunny day, and it was a big hit with the 7th graders!
