Fun Physical Education Activities at The Grauer School - Outdoor Workout Circuit
Athletics Director Trevor Olson provides a wide variety of activities for Grauer students in Middle School and High School Physical Education classes, with a different activity each week. His goal is to make PE fun for his students, so that they enjoy different types of physical exercise and continue to stay fit and active through high school and beyond. Trevor and Coach Paulina Davis-Fisher had their 8th Grade PE students complete an Outdoor Workout Circuit last week using a series of fun fitness challenges at different stations, including frisbee, badminton, spikeball, pull-ups, pushups, stair-climbing, and tug-of-war.
After a recent ski trip, Dr. Grauer reflects on his lifelong passion for skiing and the real reason that he enjoys it, which is much more complicated than just racing down a hill.
A guest speaker explained the science behind the different COVID-19 vaccines with Grauer students, and shared his experience of working to develop a COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
