Fun Physical Education Activities at The Grauer School - Outdoor Workout Circuit
Athletics Director Trevor Olson provides a wide variety of activities for Grauer students in Middle School and High School Physical Education classes, with a different activity each week. His goal is to make PE fun for his students, so that they enjoy different types of physical exercise and continue to stay fit and active through high school and beyond. Trevor and Coach Paulina Davis-Fisher had their 8th Grade PE students complete an Outdoor Workout Circuit last week using a series of fun fitness challenges at different stations, including frisbee, badminton, spikeball, pull-ups, pushups, stair-climbing, and tug-of-war.
Dr. Grauer is proposing a forest expedition at The Grauer School, where students will spend the week immersed, planting trees, creating, and connecting to the forest ecosystem. We cannot imagine a more valuable experience. Read this column and see if you agree.
