9th Grade English Class Visits Old Globe Theater
From Paige Prindle, English Teacher:
On Tuesday, October 23, our 9th graders were treated to a field trip to see a performance of Julius Caesar at The Old Globe in Balboa Park. The week before, an actor from The Old Globe came up to our campus to lead the students in a workshop, creating tableaux in small groups representing key scenes from each act of the play. The performance of Julius Caesar was incredible, and we were all so grateful to be able to experience Shakespeare "in the round" before we began our current unit on Romeo and Juliet. A very special thank you to our parent chaperones and drivers!
