Spring Gala

Rock out with friends and enjoy food and drinks that hit the right notes—all while raising money for our Visual and Performing Arts Programs!

It is time to party like a rock star. This will be a gala unlike any other. There will be Grauer Merch, a photo booth, an open bar, and best of all - amazing music. Hear from our Grauer students, parents, teachers, and then rock out with a live band and dance the night away!

Your ticket includes entry to the event, an open bar, appetizers, food stations, and a guaranteed good time. A VIP ticket includes all of the perks of a regularly-priced ticket, plus a VIP reserved seating area to the right of the stage and champagne as you enjoy the program. Please note that the early bird pricing deadline has now passed and regular tickets are standing room only; seating is available but on a first-come, first-serve basis.

At the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, located at 143 S Cedros Ave, Solana Beach, CA 92075.

There is a parking lot directly south of the Belly Up that is available on a first come, first serve basis, as well as street parking along Cedros Avenue. The lot directly across from the venue (with West Elm) now charges $20.00 per vehicle. We highly encourage alternative modes of transportation, such as Uber or Lyft, or even better, your Grauer student driver.

The Belly Up partners with Pacific Coast Grill, which is sure to be delicious! This is not a plated dinner type of event, so be prepared for tray-passed appetizers from 6:00-7:15pm and food stations from 7-8:15pm, including salad, sliders and dessert. 

Your ticket includes a fully-hosted bar; please drink responsibly. 

Rock the night in style - where "Glam Meets Guitar Riffs!" Leather pants and lace top? You bet. Studded jeans and vintage concert tee? Rock on. We ultimately want you to be comfortable.

We want you to hang out with your friends, but this is a concert style gala and seating is limited. VIP guests will have reserved seating closer to the front of the stage. Any additional seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. 

Just bring yourself and your rockstar vibes! Also make sure you have a charged phone on hand to participate in mobile bidding. At check in, every guest will receive a lanyard and a program book.

The auction will open on Wednesday, May 1. Silent Auction items will be available for bidding online via our Gala OneCause Site. The Silent Auction will close on Saturday, May 4, at 12:00PM.

Our online bidding lets you bid on auction items from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. You can create your account here to participate in online bidding, or log in with your existing OneCause account you may have used for previous auctions. If you purchased tickets, you will already have an account. Log into your profile ahead of time and be sure a valid credit card is entered for the auction.

Yes. If you are interested in one of the LIVE Auction items, please let us know by emailing gala@grauerschool.com, and we will assign a proxy bidder for you.

All credit cards will be run on Tuesday, May 6 unless you choose to process your own cart after the event (which helps the school cover the additional fees!). Auction items will be available for pick-up at Grauer during the week of May 5th.

Yes. Receipts detailing purchases will be generated directly from the OneCause auction software. The Development Office will follow-up with any official gift receipts and acknowledgements for gifts of check, cash or stock, and in support of our Raise the Paddle. Please note that tickets to the gala are not recognized as a charitable contribution to Grauer, unless they are VIP purchases. The Grauer School is a 501 (c)(3) public charity and our EIN number is 33-0708902.
