The High School ASB would like to thank everyone who attended last Saturday's Spring Fling Dinner and Dance. We had 60 attendees enjoying the beautiful gardens of the Foshee home. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Trey, Ximena, Amanda F. '18, and Isabella F. '21 for sharing your gorgeous home, to Amanda F. '18 and Estelle S. '18 for serving as student chairs for this event, to Galaxy Tacos for the delicious food, to our fantastic DJ Joaquin V. '18, and to our wonderful chaperones: Dana Abplanalp-Diggs, Shelley Boniwell, Tom Hopper, Isaac Langen, and Alicia Tembi. We look forward to seeing everyone out for our Prom at the San Diego Zoo on Saturday, April 14.

Congratulations to Ethan D. '23 for performing with his 6-cello ensemble at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in New York City on Memorial Day. They were invited to perform at this venue after winning 2nd place in the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition.
Congratulations to 8th grader Joshua B. '22 for being selected as our Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Student of the Year! We couldn't be more proud to have him representing The Grauer School.
Congratulations to the Theatre Arts Department on their showcase of Feiffer's People on Thursday, May 31. The student directors and actors successfully produced all their hard work, and it was a great end to a very successful theatrical year!
Congratulations to two Grauer student groups who raised an impressive amount of money this year to help others in need around the world! These students demonstrated the importance of Compassion, one of The Grauer School's core values, through their fundraising efforts.
It's an annual tradition for Grauer students to relieve some stress by petting cute and cuddly animals in a Petting Zoo on campus during Finals week. On Tuesday, June 5, Grauer students had lots of fun petting a variety of animals including baby goats, rabbits, a baby pig, and a sheep.
Congratulations to Grauer senior Sophia G. '18 who took the Oath of Enlistment for the United States Marine Corps Reserves. She leaves for boot camp in October, and then she will continue at UCSD.
The High School ASB/Leadership class would like to thank everyone who supported Spirit Week 2.0 during the week of April 9-13 by dressing up and/or competing in lunchtime activities.
At the Originals Café Night event on Thursday, April 12, Grauer High School students presented a showcase of the special projects they've been working on in their elective classes throughout the year.
The Grauer School's Middle School Math Team participated in the Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle School on April 13. They collaborated with students from other schools, and had fun thinking about challenging problems that required them to remember their math knowledge and apply it in new ways.
