Application Procedures

The Grauer School uses an extensive process to identify and qualify candidates who are well-matched for our balanced, humanitarian college prep program.

Our primary screening test is an assessment to determine character, motivation, and leadership readiness. We are seeking students who exhibit independence, humanitarianism, and academic motivation. We also require that an applicant supply their standardized achievement test results. We accept most test results which contain a national norm, as well as the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Further academic testing may be required if a student’s file does not include recent standardized test scores.

The first step is to submit The Grauer School Application Part 1 along with a $100 non-refundable application fee to the Admissions Office. The student then tours the campus, followed by submission of The Grauer School Application Part 2. Qualified applicants will be invited to meet with an Admissions Counselor and take the FIRO B character test.

Please check the “Admissions Timeline” to help ensure the most successful application process.  After an acceptance, students may be invited for an additional tour of the school.
